M, last night, walking out of the hospital:
"It's times like these that make you wonder what Adam and Eve were thinking."
M's maternal grandfather Ernie, a man he is very close to, has been diagnosed with cancer in his whole body. "Full of cancer" is how Ernie put it. Told only months.
The news is shocking.
A lot is whirling in my mind. Change is here, change is coming...
3 What do you think?:
I'm so sorry about your loved one having cancer. I recently had a 'grandpa' (he was my husbands, stepmom's, dad -- if that makes any sense!) pass away. He had full on cancer as well--it started as lung, but spread everywhere. It is very difficult--but just lean on those around you and you will get through!
I am so sorry about your news...it is certainly a very trying time for you and your family. My thoughts and prayers are with you. My husband's maternal and paternal grandfathers passed away last October and December. One had heart disease and the other had cancer in the lungs. I also lost my grandma in March of 2007. So last year was certainly a very emotional year for our family. I know how terribly hard it is to lose loved ones. I hope you find comfort in knowing that their love will ALWYAS stay with you, in your heart. Hugs.
My prayers are with you.
